Együtt bővíti az AWS és a SAP a digitális szuverenitást Európában

Az Amazon Web Services (AWS) és a SAP SE bejelentették a SAP Sovereign Cloud megoldások elérhetővé tételét az AWS European Sovereign Cloud keretein belül, ami egy új, független, az Amazon 7,8 milliárd eurós támogatásával létrehozandó felhő lesz Európa számára.

Az AWS és a SAP több mint 16 éve dolgoznak együtt a felhőalapú innovációk terén. A mostani kooperáció erre az örökségre épít, hogy támogassa az ügyfelek digitális szuverenitási követelményeit és felgyorsítsa digitális átalakulásukat Európában. A SAP Sovereign Cloud megoldások a SAP biztonsági szempontból megerősített felhőalapú megoldásai, amelyek megfelelnek a szabályozott iparágak és a közigazgatás ágazati szabványainak. Az együttműködés célja, hogy ezeket a képességeket és a SAP vállalati ismereteit összekapcsolja az AWS infrastruktúrájával, működési tapasztalatával, hogy azok megfeleljenek az ügyfelek változó digitális szuverenitási igényeinek Európában.

” A SAP és az AWS azt szeretné biztosítani, hogy ügyfeleink hozzáférjenek a legfejlettebb szuverenitási megoldásokhoz és a szervezetek az innovációra, valamint a kézzelfogható eredmények elérésére összpontosíthassanak.” – mondta David Brown, az AWS számítástechnikai és gépi tanulásért felelős alelnöke.

Az AWS European Sovereign Cloud, amelynek első AWS régiója várhatóan 2025 végéig indul el Németországban, úgy lett kialakítva, hogy további választási lehetőséget biztosítson a közszféra szervezetei és a szigorúan szabályozott iparágak ügyfelei számára. A kínálat segíthet ezeknek a szervezeteknek egyedi digitális szuverenitási igényeik teljesítésében, beleértve az adatok elhelyezésére, működési autonómiára és rugalmasságra vonatkozó követelményeket.

Az AWS European Sovereign Cloud elkülönül és független lesz a meglévő AWS régióktól és az EU-n kívüli infrastruktúrától. Az erős technikai ellenőrzéseknek, szuverenitási garanciáknak és jogi védelemnek köszönhetően az ügyfelek kihasználhatják az AWS teljes kapacitását, ugyanazzal a biztonsággal, rugalmassággal és kiterjedt szolgáltatási portfólióval, amely a meglévő régiókban is elérhető.

A SAP Sovereign Cloud megoldások már elérhetők az AWS-en Ausztráliában és Új-Zélandon (2023 óta), az Egyesült Királyságban (2024 óta), Kanadában és Indiában (2025 óta).
