Jún. 12-én nagy bejelentés jön! Állítólag az év legnagyobb külföldi tőkeinjekciója! Egy hazai tech-start-up – tippünk szerint! – kb. 20 millió dolláros tőkeinvesztíciót kaphat? Ez talán nagyobb lesz, mint anno a Prezi 14 millió dolláros tőkebevonása volt. Szenzáció várható! (UPDATE 0612: Hivatalos tájékoztatás szerint jövő hétre halasztódik a sajtótáj, mert az egyik befektető akkor tud Magyarországra jönni. És állítólag az összeg is kevesebb leszz… 06.18. usd 8M lett az összeg + 2. kör)

A Prezi 2011. decemberben vont be tőkét az Accel Partners és a Sunstone Capitaltól. Akkor a Prezi.com talán egy 10-30 fős cég lehetett. Eddig ez volt a csúcs start-up befektetés itthon (ha a tőzsdei IPO-kat nem nézzük… lásd LogmeIn) – UPDATE 06.07. Helyesbítünk, mert a legnagyobb eddig a Ustream tőkeinvesztíciója volt usd 60M értékben. Köszönjük a Ustream jelzését és elnézést a hibáért!

A mostani amerikai tőkebevonás várományosa egy 160 fős hazai tech-start-up! Amelyről alig beszéltünk itthon eddig… Csendben fejlődött. Szerényen és alig hype-olva. Holott klasszikusan „garázsból”, vagy inkább a magyar helyzetnek megfeleltethető körúti garzonból indultak. És az eredményei alapján a legjobbak között helye!

A cég vezetője mindig szerényen nyilatkozik a sikereikről és a mostani tőkebevonást lassan 1,5 éve tervezik. Korábbi értesüléseink szerint eleve nem hazai befektetőben gondolkoztak, hanem a nemzetközi befektetési piacon próbáltak szerencsét. Vizsgálták európai befektető bevonását is, de aztán az amerikainál kötöttek ki. Ahogy hallottuk ebben néhány amerikai angyalnak is szerepe volt, akik azonnal meglátták a hazai start-up-ban rejlő tehetséget. És igazuk volt!

A cég a régió egyik legsikeresebb technológiai vállalata, mely két hazai fejlesztőközpontjában és több kereskedelmi központtal rendelkezik: New Yorkban, Párizsban, Londonban, Moszkvában és Münchenben. Ja és az ügyfelei között megtalálható a Fortune 100 vállalat közel harmada. Szóval elég jól nyomják nemzetközileg.

Hát nagyon izgalmas lesz, hogy ki is teszi a bejelentést? – Egyelőre nem áruljuk el. Szerintünk az idei év legnagyobb akvizíciós sztorija jöhet! Vagy az egészen biztosnak látszik, hogy idén eddig ez lesz a legnagyobb hazai tőkebevonás…
